Mole removal in Brockville
Some moles are simply in the way: they catch on a collar, sit on a belt line, or you would rather they were gone. I remove those at Ottawa Derm Centre in Brockville.
I am Dr. C. Scott Graham, a general surgeon. Mole excision at ODC is for moles that have already been judged benign. If a mole is changing in colour, shape, or size, or if you are worried about it, start with your family doctor or a dermatologist. That is the right first step.
When removal is appropriate, it is a small excision under local anaesthetic, done at ODC Medispa, 135 Ormond Street. Same building as my office.
I also remove skin tags at the same clinic.

Important Information
A consultation is required for all new patients, and for existing patients who are pursuing concerns not previously discussed within the past 12 months.
If you’re unsure how to book or don’t see your concern listed, please contact us at 613-369-8369 or by email at appointments@ottawadermcentre.com.
Patients are considered “Existing” only if they have been seen within the past 12 months for the same concern they are booking for. If a treatment is booked without a prior consultation for that concern, the treatment deposit will be applied toward a consultation fee.
Consultation fees cover the assessment, discussion of treatment options and expert recommendations. If you proceed with treatment, the treatment fee is separate and in addition to the consultation fee. Although we make every effort to provide treatment in the most expedient manner, treatment may not be provided at the time of consultation and could require a separate appointment.

Questions
- Will it be looked at under the microscope?
- If the mole should be sent to pathology, I will say so at the consult. That is a medical decision, not a default.
- Can I book this as hospital surgery?
- Cosmetic mole removal is through ODC, not through the hospital wait list.
- What if I also have a cyst or a lipoma?
- Say so when you book. We can often sort more than one lesion in the same visit if they are straightforward.
